FLOSS:
TWIST IT
Snap off about 18 inches of floss and twist one end around the middle finger of one hand, then twist the other end around the opposite middle finger, leaving about 2 inches or so of floss between them.
SLIP IT
Hold the floss firmly between the thumbs and forefingers and gently slip it between the teeth.
SLIDE IT
Slide the floss gently back and forth between your teeth. When you reach the gumline, curve the floss into a “C” shape against the side of the tooth and slide the floss gently up and down, keeping it pressed against the tooth. (Don’t be rough and jerk or snap the floss.) Do this a few times before moving on to the next tooth.
FINISH IT
Continue until you’ve flossed all your teeth. And don’t forget to floss behind your back teeth!
TOOTHPASTE:
Brush at least 2 times a day with toothpaste and toothbrush.
